you can put any cam you like.


you need to be a little more specific, what rpm stall torque converter, etc. Performance is not about the part, it is about the sum of parts and their relationship.

What's wrong with camming the 4-eight? I put the ls1 hotcam in mine, and yeah, its a baby cam, but it does just fine. I believe there are several members with HOT 4.8 setups running damn fast 1/4 times.

There is nothing wrong with the 4.8, not at all. There are a few 4.8's here outperforming larger cubed engines for sure!
