When I first got my W4M tune it wasn't totally perfect. I ran it for a week, decided what I liked and what I wanted changed. took it out, sent it to him and in less than 5 days from the day I mailed it I had it back. with everything I wanted, just the way I wanted it. If you sent jesse that dyno slip and it has the info he needs he can sure hook you up. so can others, just for more money.

The REAL test between the two is 1/4 mile ET's....you're dyno is not an accurate comparison, being that the test was not run equally between the two.

its a mail order, not a dyno tune. w/o seeing the numbers (hp,tq,a/f) jesse is just using his best knowledge at the settings. every motor is different. don't go to another tuner until you give him a couple tries to tune it in. i bet he can dial it in. get some 1/4 times before getting to mad. if you want a perfect tune, get a dyno tune its the only way.

How much hp and torque should you get from a custom tune on a 2005 5.3? My tuner charged me $379 for the tune and only came up with 10 hp gain, and 12 lbs. of TQ, does this sound correct? He also puts it on the dyno. Also took out all of the TQ management. I heard that you should keep about 20 to 30% of you TQ management in.

you should get ALOT more horsepower out of a hp tune from hp tuned. you get that much if not more from a handheld.

I think you would get more than 10hp and 12ft lbs TQ just from switching from mid grade to premium. and probably more from a hand held. I could tell a pretty good differance from stock when I used the predator, them when I put in my jesse tune for the 1st time I could tell an advantage over the predator. then after I sent it back and told him how it was doing he dialed it in, and now it's friggin awesome. if theres any left it cant be much. I can sure feel it in the "sop" gauge, and thats what counts, right if you can give him some info he can do as well as anybody, for allot less money. My heavy *** truck snaps through the gears with perfection, when driving and wanting to pass or just downshift a gear, now I barely press the pedal some and it downshifs, press a little more it'll downshift again and start gittin. the stock tune and the predator would require a good stab at the trottle before they would shift down.

It's not all about the peak numbers....how does it look under the curve?
