Default Heads to match cam

I am trying to decide which set of heads will work best with the thunderracing nitrous cam and a 125 shot of nitrous. I was looking at patriot and edelbrock, im trying not to spend more than $1500 though.

I have been told that i can get the cheaper edelbrock performers and port/polish them, but im not too convinced.

Opinions anyone?

Can you list some of the mods you already have? Any bolt ons, gears or converters? Any tuning done yet?
Use caution when selecting your cam. Big cams don't necessarily get along with trucks because they compromise low end torque. If this truck is your daily driver, then select your cam wisely. I recommend erroring on the small side. It will really help to know of any current mods. I'm sure the members of this board can help you zero in on what to do.

sorry, here it is: current mods are, intake, asm headers, single catless 3" w/offroad y, ls1 efans, and thats it so far. Also i still have the stock 3.73 gears for now.

But i plan on running, built heads/ 224/227 .563/.569 114 or 113 lsa,
125 shot, 3500-4000 rpm stall, the stock 3.73 or 4.10 gears, and tune.
I have just decided that i was going to get the heads and cam out of the way first.

I would go with the 114lsa. It would work better with nitrous.
