think i posted the original thread in the wrong spot, anyways, finally bought my brand new LQ9 shortblock, and im trying to decide on what heads to go with. Keep in mind im very ignorant when it comes to heads. I know next to nothing about them.

Im thinking about running a ms4 cam, MAYBE a trex cam, and thats a big maybe. and im thinking about getting the FAST 102 intake, anyways my goals are to have a mid to high 11 second truck, N/A. I know all the bolt ons i will need, headers, cam, converter etc, just dont know the best cam/head combo to go with.

the truck is a reg cab stepside sierra. so what heads do you all think would get me as close to my goals as possible?

 

I have not read up on the l92 thing personally, but they "work" very well on skeets setup. A iron ls2 with the 243's would get you high 11's with the right combo. I do think the cam choice changes for a l92 head. hope others chime in about the l92 stuff. I have a set of l92's, and 799's to chose from when I get my short block built.
