Budget? Goals? It's a 99, so still DBC = cheaper/simple IMO. I own a 2000 and a 2001 that I swapped, wasn't that hard. This forum was my go to when doing research, or if I ran into a weird issue.

On a budget - 799/243s, mill .030", 22x/23x cam, TBSS intake. Spend a little more for bigger power - 821/823s milled .030", 23x/24x cam, L92/LY6 intake. Unlimited budget... aftermarket heads and intake + cam of your liking. JMHO

All good, I am constantly doing that. I have a bunch of parts, I just need to pick specific ones and put something together.
