Default heads and cam ?

I have a chance to buy a set of 243 heads off of a 6.0 and a 224 cam. I have a 05 GMC with the 5.3. would like to get input if its a good set up or not. Of course gonna add headers and a tune after the swap and a CAI. Just checking before i buy on how its gonna be. Thanks guys

You'll need to mill the heads .030 assuming that they're not already milled to keep your current compression ratio.

Personally I think the cam is a bit big if you're not going to put a stall on the truck.

that combo mill the heads .050 gain some compression and a 3600 stall with 410s it will run good

Cam is a bit big but will work
I prefer less cam and stall for my daily but its all in what you want!

.030 gets you back to stock compression ratio
.050 gains some compression
