I don't mean to hijack but does anyone have any experience wiTh darT pro1 heads? I have seen tHem for sale at reasonable prices.

Those 2.02 Patriot valves will barely clear your cylinder walls. I think you might have .030" on each side if you're lucky.

58cc I had 59cc on my 5.3 had about 9.8-9.9 cr and I had a 223/230 .605/.610 115 so with ur cam 58cc

So basically try and keep the cc's the same or around stock. But higher the compression? Sry I'm learning

the cc's are in reference to the volume of the combustion chamber (in cubic centimeters -> cc) so a smaller combustion chamber will run your compression ratio higher as the same amount of fuel and air is being compressed into a smaller space before igniting. a larger combustion chamber will make for a lower compression ratio.

kk got ya on that... so basically iF your NA you want more compression if your boosted you want more cc...

Pretty much. You want to stay under 9.5:1 compression if you go FI.

If budget is truly super tight, the SDPC heads will work, they certainly are much better than stock. They don't flow as well as the Texas Speed heads. Guess you have to decide if that extra $235 is worth the extra flow numbers.

Higher compression ratios will give you a little extra power if you stay N/A, but you'll also probably need to run higher octane gasoline.
