Default Heads!!

i am looking to start getting some parts together for my heads. i plan on getting a port and polish, cam, springs, push rods, retainers, and maybe some roller rockers. is there anything else that i might need that i forgot? i could use some info on whats good and whats not. i am looking for a cam that isn't to choppy, looking for power from 2000rpms- up. could you give me some pointers on what would be some good parts. thanks

I would even mill some off the heads raise your compression
you can still use pump gas at 11:1 ratio

also inlarge the valve a bit let it breath

hey, i have a set of stage 2 LQ9 heads from my truck, if you're looking for a set let me know via PM and i'll give ya a price for'em. i have a cam for sale also.

p.s. the heads are fully assembled with new REV duals springs, ti retainers, hardened seats and brand new valve seals and valves. i also have a set of Ferrea 2.02/1.60 valves that can be installed with minimum machine work.

Good Luck trying to make power from 2K up. When you figure that one out let me know. You better be more realistic and settle for 4K.

I would try and stick with something tried and true like the 212/218 cam. It wont push your peak power too high like my cam does.

Nitrous is my plan to take care of the low bottom end power i have

216/220 .535/.535 112, i had that grind in my truck with LS6 springs, and it made great low end torque over stock, pulled like a raped ape up top, it was a great overall cam.
