Default Which Headers Should I Buy?

Hey guys....which headers should I buy? Got a 2003 GMC Z71 SCSB w/ 5.3........who makes the best headers according to price, durability and ease of fitment "being a 4X4".......and which sponsor has the best prices?

I've had the Dynatech SuperMaxx system on my 4x4 for over a year and I LOVE it. Not cheap, but not cheaply made either.

The StainlessWorks headers fit 03's and up...(and we'll soon know about the fitment on 99's too ) There's a link to their website on LS1Tech

Thanks for that info BudHayes....got any idea what kinda pirce? The Dynatech Supermaxx system is just way too much than I want to spend right now. Ya know?

I've heard about the Doug Thorley Tri-Y but I've not had anyone specifically say "they WILL fit a 4X4".....

I think they're arount $1100 for the system with the catted y-pipe, less than $900 for the one with the ORY, and less than $700 for just the headers.

ASM's they are great headers and they fit 99-up Chevy's and 4x4's. I have had mine for over a year and have not had a single problem with them yet, and the coating is holding up really good. ASM's also make good hp#'s....
