Default which headers and cats?

to start off my truck is a 99 5.3 zz, just a couple little bolts ons and a tune by wheatley.

okay so as of right now my truck has true duals from cats back, with each side going to a a separate flowmaster.

well ive been wanting to change my muffler and probably go with the spintech 9000 series. also ive been wanting to get a set of long tube headers and some new cats.

SO im wondering which headers would be good alot of people have told me pacesetters which is what ive really been looking at.
What i should do about my cats if i should change my stock cats to high flow cats, or possibly none?
And the last question is should i go to a x pipe after the cats or just leave the pipe how i have it, going from each side just straight back to mufflers?

so if i could get some help with this it would be really helpful.

If you can get away with not running cats, don't run them. If you have to legally have them, the Magnaflow Universal spun cats are the best.

This sums it up for you.

As far as the headers, for your power level, pacesetters or OBX will do you some good, and the obx come with a y pipe I believe, so you could scrap the duals and sell them and buy a nicer exhaust
