Default Headers?

Hello, I just did a search and came up empty. After some checking, I am leaning heavily towards American racing headers or Kooks. What would you go with? Please give me your opinions. How much Hp/tq am I losing by going with cats? I am getting it tuned also.

Edit: 2013 GMC Yukon XL

You won't be giving anything up having cats with ARH. Several people on here have ARH on their trucks and are very happy with them. You can't beat the quality, the fit, or the power gains. If you have more specific questions, ask away, or feel free to pm me.

There are a few videos online about them throwing high flow cats on a 600+ HP application. I think they lost something like 2 HP peak.

Awesome! I will be going ARH with cats. Will I still throw a code with these headers and cats without a tune?

Most likely, yes. But it won't affect how it runs at all, and you'll be okay to drive until you do get it tuned.

Thank you, Will the code be there because of added air and the stock tune can't compensate or because the cats are not scrubbing enough? Should I go with 1 7/8 or 1 3/4? Sorry for all the questions. Just want it done right the first time.
