I reccomend before you order your headers to go out and take a look at all your manifold bolts to see if any of them are broken off into the head. its very commong on the 5.3's i read it was only common on the 00-02 5.3's but my trucks is a 04' with the
LM7 and the manifold bolt by cyl. 7 was broken off into the head and i couldnt get it out. ended up having to buy a used set of heads and swapping heads. I plan to get the head with the broken bolt to the machine shop and get it out just didnt have time to wait and i found a used set local to buy. just a heads up for you cause i promise it sucks when your soooo excited about installing your headers and you know it should only take you less than an hour then you see that head bolt broken and your like OHHH ****!
