hey most of you guys ron longtubes right? what are the advantages of LT's over shorties? and how much harder is the install?

L/T's will allow for alot more power gains than the shorties. Shorties are just as good as stock manifolds. There shouldn't be any different install from LT's and shorties same procedure I belive.

I'm ditchin my shorties for some StainlessWorks lt's...there really isn't a whole lot of gains to be had with the shorties. I notice you have a 98, so I'm not sure what lt's are available for yours. Unless you get the headers with a y-pipe set-up, most long tubes will require some welding and/or fabrication, while the shorties are a direct bolt-in.
