I just got done installing my dynatech header system. I was wondering if all headers on these trucks are more noisy (at the engine, and under) or just mine? Im guess I will get use to the new noise, just want to be sure its ok.

I think what you're experiencing is how much thinner headers are than manifolds. Manifolds will absorb sound better since they're so much thicker than headers. Headers have a tendecny to have a "ring" or resonance to them.

 

Ya mine have a destinctive sound to them. Its normal.

 

It's very normal.

 

both my togs and current thorleys do it. very normal.

 

I've got a kind of "chirpy" sound at mid throttle and up. Part of it's character.
