Default Header install help

I ordered the ebay long tubes and am in the process of removing the stock manifolds and Y. Is there any way to remove the stock Y without cutting it? I've tried everything I can think of besides that, but I really don't want to cut it unless I have to.

Drop the trans crossmember. Make sure you support the trans tho.

Just cut it, i cut mine in a place it could easily be welded or band clamped together, much less hassel.

I ended up cutting it. I had the truck up on jack stands and wasn't comfortable going higher to get the jack under the trans. Got the driver side header on and will get the passenger side and Y on tomorrow.

all you had to do was put the tranny on the jack, remove the 4 bolts and slide the Y pipe out then put the support back. if its high enough for you to put the LTs in, then it was high enough to put a jack and remove the support. ive pulled the tranny in my CC 2 times with it on jack stands and ramps i do everything under the car port bc i can't afford a 4-5k lift PLUS a 15-25k shop just yet. well i can but my truck wasnt finished so i didnt wanna lol
