Default header install help

Well, my pacesetter headers and ory pipe should be here in the next few days. So What should I use to connect the ory pipe to the headers (pre formed band clamps?) how did you guys do it? Also any tips on installing the headers? Thanks

i used the Walker (Dynomax) 3" pre-formed stainless band clamps and they seemed to be working just fine. i had to stab mine from the bottom, they just wouldn't go from the top. i also used a hacksaw and cut 4 1-1/12" slits in the y-pipe where the collector slides in so the y-pipe could collapse around the collector for a better seal.

FWIW, I'd go with the band clamps. They seem to be working great on my Dynatech system.

I used the bad clamps also and are working fine now. I also put some copper rtv and some foil to help make sure there are no leaks.
