Hey. Today bad news I install the protect boot for spark wire cover. SOmehow the OEM spark wire have steel boot with springs. So the taylor boot sleeve not fit. SO I have to take steel boot with springs off. It work and plug in. I drive and its shake. DO I need put all steel boot with springs back together?

Guess what I found one spark wire is cut. I guess ahead buy whole new MSD wires. DO I need put oem steel boot on it?

I dont have mine on my plugs...took em off when I didnt my headers in March...no problems here

i have no idea, im sure its some reason but i always hated them...major PITA when changing plug wires...

They're heat shields to help protect the stock wires. If you're going with MSD's you won't need to put the heat shields on...they won't fit and the MSD's are made of a more heat resistant material anyway.

DONE replace new spark wires set (MSD 8.5mm) and taylor red boots. Everything great.

What do you mean? You mean the muffler coat paint peel off? There is no peels at all.

Meaning it spins the tires more with the stock exhaust on it, then with the headers.
