Default Header Install

Ok I Just Received My Asm Headers Today And I Was Wondering If There Was Anything That Would Be Real Complicated While Installing Them, And Also Should I Use Any Type Of Lock Tite Or Any Other Type Of Lube. Any Info Would Be Helpful. Thanks In Advance!

Had the instructions told me these couple of things it would have been a 1.5hr install my first time.any header install on these new trucks i always disconnect the battery, and remove both inner fender panels, that takes 5min a side and allows easy accesse.Drivers side is super easy.the new header goes in from the bottom.Passenger side can be a major bitch or it can be not hard at all.On the passenger side only remove the coil pack and the other key is go in from the top.No need for loctite,I used a touch of anti seeze.

just make sure you go up from the bottom on both sides...get new factory gm metal gaskets, the paper ones you probably received won't last long...and put anti-sieze on all your header bolts as you put them back in, because it will make removal easier if you ever have to do it again...also, make sure you put the headers up from the bottom on both sides

BE CAREFUL when you tighten down the header bolts. Trust me....you don't want to break one.

Not right off hand. I'll look them up in the morning.

Passenger side goes in from the top on a truck FWIW. AS&M's use to come with OEM gaskets, do they not do that anymore? Mine did and they haven't leaked for 3+ years.

Mine came with steel gaskets, flanges, and flange bolts.

What are you guys doing about your Y-pipe while running ASM's? My thoughts are just cut the Y-pipe to fit and take on the new flanges.
