Lol. Fit and finish on ARH are nothing to write home about... but I guess you can keep telling yourself they are great justifying the price you pay for them. Normally I would never buy anything that's cheap like these but honestly those outfits can take their overpriced stuff and shove it. If they had clear fit and finish heads and shoulders above it wouldn't be a question but they don't. And I couldn't care less the country of origin either.

You know something, I'm going to agree with 1994Vmax.

Speed Engineering, especially since they are active on here and back what they put out.
Plus, everything I've seen about them is top notch, regardless of where they're coming from.

Yes that's another impressive thing I see with speed engineering is the customer interaction. Like they actually listen to people in their threads and make changes based upon feedback. You don't see that with very many really and it's a nice level of customer service that just isn't there anymore. But hey... Sure... bag on them for being "budget minded" or whatever other holier than thou approach you want to take.

The problem I ran into on my swap is that the Y-Pipe was designed for a 4L60 trans and did not clear the 4L80 pan at all. If you are buying a Y make sure it will clear a 4L80 pan!!

I'm not sure on the Y, but for the true duals, the pipes cleared the 6L90 trans in the 2001 Silverado 2500HD

I love TSP and I have a TSP cam in my truck right now, Im not bashing anyone or their headers, I'm stating that ARH and Kooks are a higher quality product, do they make double the Horsepower? No of course not but in general, if price wasn't a factor, if I layed the headers side by side and asked anyone to choose 9 times out 10 they will choose ARH or Kooks over TSP or Speed Engineering...I said the TSP headers will get the job done, but to each their own, I myself prefer to get the higher quality product...

And I replied "ARH or Kooks if quality is important, if price is more important TSP or Speed Engineering"

Well let's see you lay them side by side and point out these obvious quality improvements you keep going on about. Because you won't find much if you actually bother too do it. But it's your money... waste it as you see fit. Just doesn't mean anyone else really should.
