I'm from ct, and you said you are in the middle of design right? do you have that program where you take a user's ride, and use it for design? if so i'd be willing to participate. 2004 5.3 2wd auto

I got ya. I went and looked and they are listed $546 on Summits site. I got some coated ones locally for $489 through a friend. I hope they work out alright.

Dynatechs all day. Based on the install, and performance I say it cant be beat. We did some back to back dyno testing on my truck with 3 different headers...and the Dynatechs really pulled away in the midrange and had a slight bit more up top than the 2nd place header

hey Todd....thanx for that last info. That's the kind of info I need. So...I guess....are these Dynatechs a long tube design? And...what Kind of install time am I looking at? Do they ship with all needed gaskets, studs, nuts and so on, to complete the install?

Now, I guess....I ask....do you guys sell this brand? Or do you suggest who I should order from? What's the cost?

Hey Parts Guy,
Dynatechs are a long tube design. I love mine. They installed with help of a friend in about 8 hours. Might have taken a little less but we had to do some cutting on the stock exhaust because I couldn't get some of the bolts to break loose. The system for the 5.3 comes with a Y-Pipe but I got the one for the 6.0 because it has no Y-Pipe and then I had a custom true dual exhaust fabbed up. Runs great and sounds awesome. I've been getting a couple SES lights - too lean - but my tune from Allen Nelson is supposed to take care of that. The clearances are REAL tight under the truck. A problem I ran into is that the header on the driver's side is rubbing the U-joint on my front drive shaft when I have 4 wheel drive engaged. I called the guys at Dynatech and they said they knew they would be close but they designed them this way so they fit the 2WD and 4WD. They told me to just get under there with a monkey bar and bend the things out away from the joint. Hope this helps.
