Default Header Bolts

What ft/lb to torque and when to torque them? I have a header leak and tried 20 ft/lbs on a cold engine.

If I am not mistaken, the dynatech supermaxx system says 15ft/lbs. Don't know about stock or anything else though.

I am thinking about loosing them all and retorqueing them back down starting from the middle working my way to the ends. If that doesn't work, I will probably need to replace the header gasket due to the amount of miles driven with leak.

If you are going to loosen that bolt, take them on out and inspect the gaskets. Check with SDPC here at the site for the gaskets. Most of the sponsors carry OEM gaskets.
