I am not at all suprised. John and his buddy have always been rude. Like they are doing you a favor by selling them your product. Try http://www.theotherguysproducts.com/products.html

man that really sucks, they were really nice to me when i talked to them. I looked at the other guys headers just out of boredom yesterday and they seem to be about as much as the ASM's were, seems like it would just be better for you to wait until january, unless there is some other company that i dont know about.

hmm... i sell ya my slightly used hamms for 900

I ordered mine in early November. I shot an email today asking about the status and got no reply yet. So far I've had good luck with them.

Hey "really slow truck" who did your install? I was thinking about doing it myself and driveing it to the shop for the welding but I'm having second thoughts on that now.

nah, do it urself, its really easy. i paid usa conversions on 1960 freakin 300bucks to do it, now im mad. its only a few bolts u gotta take off and then put them on. just be sure not to use the high quality header gaskets that come with them just reuse the stock metal ones so u wont have to pull ur headers again down the road to do it anways like i did lol.

I was pretty disappointed with their phone and email responses. It was hard to get them and I was left hanging for a few weeks, but they shipped them for free. Who knows. I will say that their headers are very good quality. I would be tempted next time to pay the extra and get ASM. But for $250+ less, you have to put up with them.

The install is easy. Have a local shop lined up to weld the pipes into your y-pipe after you finish. *** Dont use their crappy gaskets.

Sorry to hear that Jason. Any news about that other header company you said might be getting into the truck market?

Depending on the quality of the header flanges it may be better to go without any gaskets at all. But I don't want to tell those what to do when they have to tighten their bolts all the time...

Anyways...it is an easy install if you have common handtools or air tools. Just be sure to use anti sieze on the bolts and it is possible to use just copper permatex as your gasket. If the flanges are very smooth and straight this will work better than any gaskets. Plus you wont have to tighten up the bolts all the time.
