hey guys its been awhile since ive been on here and hope eveyone is doing fine i got rid of the avalanche and have a 83 c10 now it will be ls powered guys so dont worry...........
but i have been doing alot of wiring jobs and have been busy everyone wants an ls in everything lol espscially the crawler guys. just finished wiring a doored nissan hardbody body dropped 6.5in wired it from nose to tail converted it to carb and push button start starter kill switch and all that good stuff....i hate minitrucks
but an older guy is wanting me to help him build a motor for his truck its an older chevy not sure on year model but its the truck he learned how to drive in.....sentimental value so the budget goes out the door lol
as u see from the titlle hes wanting a 6 speed he was looking at a t56 but i steered him towards the t6060(t56magnum) because i was told by tremetec it will hold 700hp unless they lied
ive been out of the ls scene for awhile so im kind of rusty on the new parts available that why i need yalls help.....
the goal is 550-600 rwhp without fi it might have nitrous but wanna establish a baseline of 550 at least
plan on using a 6.0 steel block
has the edelbrock intake come out yet and how does it do?
best heads? my guess was patriot
cam? lol theres a million
bore size .30-.40 over?
fill in the details chime in on what u have

Welcome back.
370 CI motor .30 over with 11.1 comp and custom cam Contact (Patrick G) Ls1tech member.
If your going N/A i'd get a Fast ported 92MM intake.
Any stage 2-2.5 heads will get you in the 400+ range with a decent sized cam. I'd recommend looking at (WCCH) Sponsor >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
150 shot and you should be in the 500+ range and still have more room to grow.
You can also go with L92 heads, intake and custom cam a lot of people have been running these heads with great success.
Pick a stall before everything else of course.

Here's a good read that I found on LS1tech.
The "recipe" to 500 rwhp with heads and cam.
