I did see that one broke the front end suspension relatively easily over some terrain that an H1 would have laughed at. His intent is to make it sound as tough as it looks. He hasn't bought this for going anywhere that isn't paved. I was thinking a HPP3 since they have the 87 octane fills now, a Magnaflow and some sort of CAI (Volant if they make it). Personally I would put some beefed up heads and cam in it to make it growl but he isn't too much into that. Sound pretty fair in the way of ideas? What do the 'truck guys' do?

Be careful about a heads/cam package, these trucks are very heavy, and you do not need to lose low rpm power.
Just do bolt-ons (or weld-on).
Radix supercharger.(if not, a cai is cool too, i guess)
Flowmaster or Magnaflow or? (probaly have to get the muffler and do your own piping, unless they make a cat-back system).
Nelson Tune (or any other custom tune).
Check it out. They make headers for the h2--NICE! Add this to the mix.

And don't forget the double-spinner 24's.

Please remeber that I come from the low side of the house and know next to nothing about the aftermarket truck side. Radix? Nelson tune, where do I find this? Is HPP no good with the header/exhaust/intake idea or just since stepping up to blower it would be best for custom tuning? Where is the best place to purchase, do any of them give LS1tech discounts? This has been a great help, thank you!

need to get a custom tune from nelsonperformance.com, radix is an intercooled roots type supercharger. don't mess with ahnd helds they are not worth anything IMO. doa search on CAI, their is alot to be said. eprsonally I would leave my stock one or custom fab one if I got the radix.

No Radix going on, so it looks like a box choice. I'm sorry for the ignorance, I know Radix simply as a Magnacharger from the F-body. How does the custom tune work, send it out and then hope for the best? Any local tuners that are reputable for this in NC?
