Default H2 Radix install finally complete

Well, we made it through! Success after about 21 hours of install time.

The outcome of the install is perfect performance as anticipated and advertised. When you drop the hammer you can tell now!

I am very happy that I decided to install the Radix early (approx 2000 miles on the odometer). Had I done it later I would have been way more frustrated what with everything being dirty and greasy and generally nasty. The frustration level was definitely high in my garage for the last two days. My friend and I were convinced several times that Magnuson and GM conspired to screw us The reality is the GM made some changes to the platform (H2) that the installation guide hasn't notated (example... some things come apart differently or simply will not fit in the location designated by magnacharger). These circumstances make it seriously challenging.

I fully believe they should make another effort to enhance and correct the installation guide for the 2004 H2. I have full confidence that a pickup truck or regular SUV platform would not have the same experience. The H2 truly is unlike anything else.

Still, the install was a success even though drawn out. I can definitely tell its working as promised. I am very happy with the final result. The truck is completely docile at normal low throttle angles. There is no whine whatsoever on my truck. The only cue that something is up is that it shifts a little firmer. However, once you lay into the throttle it starts to whine
and then roar It is the perfect sleeper.

I can't wait to do the e-fan conversion next.

Nice report, glad you like it. Just out of curiosity, how much does that beast weigh?

Glad you got it done. I also am curious how much it weighs. What do you think it would run in the 1/4?

It is in the 6400 - 6500 lb range. I did install the "drag pack" for the H2 at home. This was the little known option that eliminates the roof rails and the spare tire and jack for a weight savings of approximately 150 lbs...

Please e-mail me with the install issues you had. Brian@magnusonproducts.com As far as I know there are no major changes other than fuel system on the H2 from 03-04.

Thanks, B
