Default H2 402 build coming along nicely

The 402 is on the stand waiting on head studs.

Installed in the last three days were....

New Speed Secrets Turbo Cam (the LPE GT 2/3 was beat up )

Comp Cams R hydraulic roller lifters

Double roller timing chain

LS6 oil pump

New factory windage tray (old one was shoved and twisted out the pan somehow...)

New oil pickup tube (old one was mysteriously outside the pan...)

A new oil pan (the old one had a big hole... not sure how that happened)

It's definitely good having friends with LS1 tools. The front and rear cover alignment tools make the work much easier and much more likely not to leak!

A couple of days ago I swapped the 60 lb motron injectors over to my stock truck intake with the 5/8's inch spacers I made when I swapped injectors on the Radix. It went together very easily.

Now it's all down to head studs and pushrods. Seeing my Cometic gaskets and my AFR 225's sitting on the bench is killing me. I need to finish this and get the truck moving again!

Thanks!

That is a very nice project you've got going in your garage, too It'll scare a few people I'll bet!

It would have been fun to go bigger on mine... but I needed to get it back together fast. Fast means prebuilt this time of year!

Well Im not getting into any damn hurry thats for sure been 3 months since it went down Still waitin on my DART heads to get back from the porting shop and and the last few little things like a cam and headgaskets 12s should be achievable in the heavy tank I would think with the turbo setup.

I don't want to raise my expectations too much... but low 13's should be definite. I want it to be VERY streetable so I'll have to leave a bit on the table. We can't all be melting AFR's like Parish (which was very impressive by the way!)

The 65e is going to hate you have you given any thought to your trans situation Im doubting mine will last fully built in my truck that weighs a good 1500#s less than yours.

Ironically... mine was fully built up about 4 hours before the big bang... lol

That 3000 yank was flashing to 3500-4000 from a roll...lol
