Question GT2-3 Kit Question

Was looking at Lingenfelter's GT2-3 cam kit. I see that it comes with springs, but what about the push rods? If the push rods are needed, then why not put that in the kit as well. Or will the factory push rods work fine?
If not, which push rods from Lingenfelter will I need?

Thanks,

Jim

Hell man, I didn't know. The motor doesn't have all that many miles on it is why I ask.
That's why I ASKED!

stock pushrods are inherently weak some say GM designed them that way so you bend a pushrod instead of killing the motor

I got you. That's all I really needed to know. I guess I'll buy the push rods from Lingenfelter as well. Probably an oil pump too. The timing chain, I'm not so sure really needs to be replaced.

I have been running the stock push rods all the way to 6300 rpm for 35K and have not had an issue yet. I personally dont think they are needed with that cam combo, others may disagree.

Always mixed responses! That's why the purchase of my parts is getting harder!
Decisions....decisions...decisions! Always hoping for the right one though!

regaurdless of mixed dicisions. What's 100 bucks when you have $10,000 motor? Might as well get the pushrods while you are at it. Cheap insurance IMO.
