Just checked out the dougs header. Looks like they might be "shorty" headers.
They only have up to 2002 model listed and that says 2wd only.

ASM are NOT carb approved. I have talked to them directly.

TOG's, as far as I know, are the only carb approved NON-Shorty header.

keep saving! your not that far from a radix! It's CARB approved and yields 120rwhp with no other mods, and it will last a long long time, thats the best advice I can give you.

well, I could keep going for the radix, what are they installed, like 5k or more?

But then I need a tranny, and headers, and new injectors...doesn't the list get quite longer with a radix?

I had a turbo car before, so I am addicted to the WHEEEEEEEEEEEE anyways, and would love to have it on my truck.

The radix is a complete kit, you have to do nothing. Injectors are included in the kit. If you leave the radix in stock trim your tranny should be good as far as I can tell. Besides, you can get a drivetrain warranty with the radix........

Upon further review, I just noticed that it says collector attachment: stock flange...I guess that would make it a shorty

I thought the main point behind headers is to get equal length tubes. That why the shorties do not work nearly as well as the long tubes.
