well i dont know if you noticed the rise in gas prices, but every last MPG counts these days and no i wouildnt add one to my truck cause i can give a **** less about gas milage in my week end driver, but i do care about how far i go on a tank of gas to get to work in my beater, bottom line is THEY DONT GIVE NOTICABLE HP but can be dyno proven to work. but if you neep more gas mileage get one. Like i said they come with a receipt IF IT DONT HELP IN ANY WAY RETURN IT!!!!

When he says it got him 1- 1.5 mpg. What is this time period over? 1 tank, 5 tank fulls? There are too many factors(wind, gas, driving habits etc..) The only way I'd ever believe it is if you actually saw data before you used it for a couple of months and then throw it in there and do it all over again. Then see what you got.
I've taken a log since I got my truck. Right now allittle over 2 yrs. Mainly just to see of all the mods I've put on to see if the mileage actually changes. I pretty much came to the conclusion that nothing really worked until I got it tuned for what I had.

yeah I definetly dont see these working at all. So yeah, it spins the air in your intake, but when it hits that 90 degree turn and goes in the intake manifold is it still going to be spinning, doubtful.

sorry guys......but I will disagree with all of your negativity about the Tornado.
I had one in my 2000 5.3L Silverado with the K&N FPIK kit. It does make a difference in power & MPG.
Though the Tornado only added about a 3/4 mpg, but it increased the upper rpm power.
At first I couldn't tell. After about 6 months of having it in my truck I wanted to see how it reacted without it.
I took it out and noticed the engine didn't climbed into the upper rpm's as quickly as it did with the Tornado installed in the intake tube.
I tested this for a week without it.
I reinstalled it, and the the upper rpm power band came through a lot quicker.
It may not seem realistic to most of you all, but it takes trial and error before you can make judgement of a product.
If it didn't work for me, I sure wouldn't be posting anything positive about it.
