Until I saw that motor pic I was wondering why in the hell you would have the D shaped ports on your tuck motor. Those headers look sick! I'm jealous

I can see it costing a little more, but 150 bux more is a bit stupid. Getting the tubing to crimp like that and not crack is tough. Pretty sweet though.
You have any estimated numbers for the crank output?

Everything about the longblock will outflow the LS7 intake which flows good but still is only about 330 cfm. My heads flow close to 400cfm at 650 lift. With heads flowing like this and the LS7 intake it should make lots of power under the curve. Based on an assumption of something less than 2hp/cfm I'm gonna guess 600-650 hp at the crank. If I was to go with a carburator style intake I could possibly see close to 700hp.

Got the headers back on for the final install. The driver side is still a good fit but I did have a little bit of problem on the passenger side. During the trial fit there was a 1/4" at one point where it passed by the chassie. I guess the coating process relaxed the bends and it moved too close not to hit during engine movement. I have seen Dynotechs do this after heating up a few times. I dented in a small spot on the chassie and it's good to go now.

1slow01Z71: Pics are hard to take and show what you need. Tuesday I will have a 4wd to compare and take measurements for you.

I looked at a 4wd side by side with my truck today. The Kook's will not even come close to clearing the front driveshaft. They drop down more to the front than the rear which comes down right on the front yoke/driveshaft.
