tuning a BIG converter is different than tuning a 3000 stall. for something that small nothing will need to be changed probably. i didn't change much of anything in mine other than shift points and line pressure with my old converter. i'm not sure what was changed with the converter in the z28 though, but it's big.

Did they send a 4L60E converter that wouldn't bolt to the flywheel or what?It seems like as long as the 4L80E has been around and as much space as Hughes gives that transmission on their web site that Hughes would have the converter for 4L80E done right.I'm really surprised you are have any problems at all.I guess they figure that you don't know how a good converter is supposed to perform.

No it just did not go on the trans right. The ID of the "tube" is too small to fit. Not sure what the deal is. I have installed plenty of converters and have never had this problem.

Call Mike at Yank and see if he can FedX you a TT2600 or 3200HD.I know you want to showup at Magnacharger driving that beast of a truck.I know what you are going through I installed a bad TCI converter that trashed my 4L60E transmission the week the Hot Rod Power Tour came to Memphis last year.
