I feel like its gonna be a pretty big project though... might soak up some serious time on that lift.

i forgot you have a transfer case since your all wheel drive so its def going to be a big job but it would be cool to see whats involved in doing the swap

If thats a serious offer I will definitely take you up on that...

I could definitely use the help of someone who knows their way around these trucks.

Bgray I thought I was goin to have the same problem you had but once I tightened the intake down the gap I had went away it looked the same as your fast did gaps on both sides of cylinder head were the intake meets.

350SS yeah if you need a hand I'll help out I like doing this type of **** people think I'm crazy when I say I enjoy working on cars and trucks I acually think myself why do I get myself into stuff lol

Biggest PITA on an awd/4wd 80e swap is swapping out the input gear in the tcase. The snap ring is a bitch. Remember you'll need new driveshafts too so its not just a weekend project unless you pick up a spare rear shaft to get modified.
