i am thinking i want a standard tranny now, the auto is just to plain. i was thining i would like to have a m6 in the truck, and since i bought that new motor i could just do all the work as far as converting it when i do the engine swap. my 4l60 needs rebuilding bad so a t56 would kinda be an easy out. when i build this motor what kind of things would i have to change from the stock 5.3 computer to make it work with a 98 up 6 speed and would it be worthwhile to do it?

25,000+, it needs rebuilding because it doesn't perform like it use to obviously. it is slipping and not shifting as firm. it's had some serious n2o through it as well as tons of wot upshifts. plus i think the m6 would be fun.
