Default Got the heads in today : )

I came home today and found a package on my door step from AllPro I ripped into the box like a 5 year old kid would on Christmas morning. These heads are awesome. I cant wait to see how they will hold the boost. I ordered them with cnc'd chambers but cast runners because they flow close to 300 CFM @600 as cast. Heres a few pictures.....

I Think thats about it.

Since you are going to be pushing so much boost through them why didnt you go ahead and get the runners cleaned up too? Just curious what made you decide to go with those heads. Did you look into the DART LS1 castings? They flow over 300cfm at .550 so Im guessing there was some other reason behind the choice of these heads.

I was thinking about getting the dart head but it was/is only availble in a 62cc chamber and i needed a 72cc chamber plus these heads have a .800" thick deck. I though about getting the runners CNC'd but I've already spent way more money than I ever wanted to. The main reason i decided on these was because of the thick deck and they have been know to hold the boost well 30+PSI. So hows your truck coming along? Had any good races yet?

I really like the heads, I sometimes wish I would have waited on my head choice. The patriots are very nice heads for the price so I could not pass them up. I am running a 64 cc head
