I believe Parish used xylene and tranny fluid to lubricate it. I guess xylene is really dry.

Good post. BTW-Yes it works! YES it WILL trash your o2's. Learned this the hard way on the GN. Ran 21# boost on 93 with "rocket fuel" and never looked back. It ran like the dickens, but had to replace all the plugs and the o2 after those 3 runs........ I had run 19# a week eariler with 93 and 2 gallons of 106, so take your chances.

I have been mixing in xylene for 3 years. I use it in my big block Buick which has over 12 to 1 compr plus a 250 shot. I used in in my truck as recently as 2 nights ago. Haven't had any probs yet. It hard to find tolulene around here-didn't know about the meth thing-that figures.

I've used Xylene before It definately works,I can buy it at Sherwin Williams paint store for about $20 for 5 gallions. It's kind of a pain to mix,so I switched to Torco racing fuel concentrate,1 can mixed with 20 gal of 93 octane gives 97 octane. If you want to get really serious 1 can mixed with 5 gal gives 107 octane.

i have used alot of xylene, probably 100gallons or so thru my last truck and i have 10gallons here today for the dyno and track. i mix it at 30% or so and add some lube, i am going to use marval mystery oil from now on i think.

i did kill a couple of stock 02's but they had 50k on them and didn't die for a long time, like 3+months of using the stuff every weekend, the wideband never died.

it works well, i was only able to run 6-7psi on 92 octane and with the xylene mix i was able to run 9psi all day long, i tried an 11psi pully and got a little knock so maybe 10 would have been ok.

i am thinking about ditching the factory 02's all together and running some c12 or whatever that really good gas is, i will still kill the wideband and that thing is expensive but i think i might try it to see how long the sensor lasts, i hear that fuel just kicks ***.
