Default Good or Bad

I have an 06 1500 Z71 4WD 5.3L I installed a volant intake pacetter LT's removed the cats and have single 3' exhaust. I just had the truck dyno tuned by a very respectable tuner here in town and I only dynoed 260hp 304tq is this low? (I only have 13,000 miles on the truck)

thats about right for a Mustang dyno and your mods... a dynojet would have put you at 280'ish.

The 2006 Z71 has the L33, no? I made 304hp with intake, catback and good tune. I agree the MD's seem to hit much lower #'s.

The L33 was only an option. Many 2006 Z71 trucks were made with LM7s.
A lot of flex fuel trucks made that year too.

What are all the specs on the truck, is it a 5.3 HO or reg 5.3? On stock tires? Full list of mods, you should post the dyno chart on here to see what it looks like. How aggressive was the tune, etc......

Your truck made 300~ hp at the crank factory, with drivetrain loss (esp with a transfer case) it doesn't seem horrible. Headers dont work wonder numbers on stock 5.3's. GM high performance dyno tested stainless works headers on a stock LM7 and saw 9 hp, and 8hp more with their cat back.

its not entirely aggressive its only an 87 octane tune with I believe 23 degress of timing AFR is right at 12 to 1 as far as the motor I dont think its an H.O. but I dont know how to tell if it is or not
