Gmhtp/more Radix Ls6
#1
Did anyone catch the article in the March issue of GM High-Tech Performance about the More Performance Radix powered LS6 that was is going in a 01' 2500 4x4? I tried to find it on their webpage but its like the only article not on the site.
It was just a damn good write up and alot of info in it. If you didnt see it go buy it!

Is that a new issue? I don't recall that being in last months. I'll be watching the mail.
The way magazines work, the month is useless. Truckin just put out their July issue. Serisouly though, this months truckin was like May, but the forward said something about the upcoming presidential election. Just stupid.

Goes to show what the More company will do with your money, they would probably get better results had they used the 6.0 and the LS6 cam with the radix.more TQ same HP and cheaper. For the price of the Ls6 they could have made the 6.0 into a 408.Rags rarley give the kind of testing that is useful.Like a giant cam in a 5.3 on a engine dyno BFD what the #s are ,its going to be a pig in a 5300Lbs truck, they dont tell the folks thats just learning that high end HP isnt everything.

We all know that there is a cheaper way to do a similar setup but it was just a cool in depth write up. I got that issue like 2 weeks ago but GMHTP has had some delivery issues lately just call them they will take care of it! They must of had a LS6 laying around because they could have used a lq9 if they just wanted it for towing! its still a nasty setup!

Or an LQ4 that would have came in the truck,If your friend asked for a recommendation for a 3/4ton truck ,I would have said dont spend 19K for an Ls6 and SC.In the rag,did it sound as if More recommends this PKG. for a big truck?
I suppose,to some readers it may seem "neat" but for logical/practical reasons,a better combo for a big truck should have been represented.

It's a 6.0 with their ported heads, forged pistons,a custom cam,a ported throttlebody and a bunch of TLC.They advertise 620hp,when you ask they will admit that that figure was achieved on a engine dyno cell under ideal conditions.I think that some of the Radix guys on out site are approaching those numbers for a lot less money.
