i know its not a vid of how it should be, i was curious what the smoke on decel is because i have seen at a few times before and am curious what it is, i think but could be wrong its usually the cause of valve seals or sometimes oil leaking through the turbo

Parish, do you have the Cat Over Temp disabled? If not, thats what can cause the rich condition. The computer things its getting hot and dumps a bunch of fuel in to the cylenders to cool things off.

parish.....are you aware that you can tune the MAF out and run strictly speed density ??

Speed density is THE way to go if you KNOW the engine VE and fuel use at a given RPM....the MAF only compensates for variences in the actual airflow vs the VE table, if there is no change (turbo at a regulated psi) you DO NOT need the MAF

all that is required is a 2-bar MAP sensor and someone with the knowledge to tune the MAF out

check out www.hptuners.com ...go to the forums and start reading there on tuning out the MAF

On the tuning issue, I'd say you need to adjust/correct the Main VE table.

I'm not sure about car/truck headers, but it's common for motorcycles, dirtbikes and quads to have their headers glow at night, just from idling for some time.

I think the Ve table was the issue he was having I think he figured it out last nite
Maybe he'll chime in and let us know when he gets a chance

Yelo you have any links to that maffless tuning action ?
I think I'm going to try and go for a Speed density setup

yeah, it was the main VE table, i adjusted a bunch of numbers in there and it seems to be fixed. probably get back to the dyno in a week or so. i want 600rwhp just on the turbo for braging rights.

i will probably try a set of those 02's and see how long they last. not ready to get into maf less tuning, what i have is working well right now. here is a wideband log from my 10.91 run. not sure what that little spike is in the middle but it normaly isn't there.
