Default Gibson Dual cat-back for 01 2500HD.

I just bought a 6.0 powered 2500HD with lots of power but need a better exhaust tone, more power is always better and better gas mileage wouldn't hurt either. anyone had any luck with this system or others? DVZZ28

I have that system. I initially bought the aluminized one, but the muffler rusted out after a couple of years of lauching my boat at a SALTWATER marina. I switched to Stainless and have been happy ever since. Gibson even gave me credit for the aluminized system and just charged me the difference in price for the stainless system. If you want to improve the sound of your truck get some 02 Simms and gut your cats. A 112 LSA bumpstick and headers (stainless)wouldn't hurt either. That's my set up and I seen people jump three feet off of the ground when I hit it at a red lite. Priceless as they say.

Did the headers make a big diff?
