Default Do I have the right PCM ?

I bought a pcm off of ebay, so I could save my old one, when I get a mail order tune. The listing said it was from my same model truck, 2000 Silverado 1500 V8. The case looks different then the one in my truck. I didn't pull the wire loom off, but it looks like it would fit. Are all the 2000-2002 truck pcms the same ?

I have a 2000 Sierra and there is no way that would work. The 2 set of clips (red and blue) that clip into the PCM and have a screw that tightens in the center. Also the PCM isnt covered in plastic, its metal.

Im not sure about the 03+, but I know the 02s are the same

Thats not the right PCM, sorry

I have a '00 5.3 Silverado 1500. The PCM has a metal cover, not plastic, and has two long side by side sockets for the PCM harness. Blue is on one side and Red on the other...

Thanks guys... I guess If I would have pulled the wire loom, I would have seen the difference. The one they sent me is actually black metal. The auction had a picture of a different pcm, they probably just sent the wrong one.
