Question Getting the STS kit. have a few??

Im very smart when it comes to the ls1 in cars, trucks are very close, but i want to double check. i had twin turbo setup on my car, i ran 10-12psi, and i ran a tr-6 plug.
im doing an sts on my 03 2500 6.0 it should run around 4-5 psi
will i need injectors? if so what size does the truck come with? will the pump keep up? will tr-6 plugs be ok?
I have a HP tuner for it, and a very good tuner, so that is low on my worry list. just wondering what i might need to change. im sure in time valve springs will need a swap, but im thinking the posable above and i should be good.
what do you guys think?
also, the reason i need to know size is, i have a set of stock 26 out of a 2001 TA, if they are bigger then fine, if not i will buy new ones

Hey Noyzee

At 5psi, you probably won't need injectors or a pump, but any more and you're better off with the pump (or an inline helper) and 42# injectors. I'm not sure on the LQ4, but the SSS comes with ~26# injectors (4 bar fuel pressure setup -- I think they're the standard 24#@ 3 bar GM injectors). The stock fuel pump is probably good for roughly 500 flywheel as I never upgraded mine on the stock cubes and only started experiencing fuel pressure issues when I started pushing the boost.

Tr-6s are good. Never had any trouble with em with my setup.

Did you go with the GT67? I highly recommend it for 6.0s.

Intake piping on my kit is 3".

I'm running 5psi with an IC and i was maxing out the injectors. I went with 43#ers. Also Allen just did one this past week on a 04 2500hd with stock kit @ 5psi and they are maxing out the injectors. So you may need them and you may not. Mine did fine on stock injectors until i put the IC.

Noyzee~ So did you end up gettin the kit from Don or someone else???? That thing should surprise some people once you get it done. Can wait to catch that thing on the road when my truck is done.

I think the stock turbo is a 60-1, but they might have changed that for the 6.0L (I had great results with the GT67 -- full boost at 3k rpms and no power drop).

If you can grab the GT67, I would

jerry, sounds good, the IC wont go on till i do some testing, so either way im sure i will get injectors, but right now i probably wont. just get a fresh filter, and run a bottle of injector cleaner threw them for cheep insurance.
LT, i havent got the kit yet, i wont be getting it till after x-mas. to many bills and things to worry about right now, maybe a month or so. i have a different dealer im working with right now, this deal with him should go threw, so i will be happy with that. I'll line up with you, but keep in mind this isnt my toy, its my work truck, so dont beat me to bad or i will want to dump more and more money into it. hehe
the biggest reason for doing this is towing my car. and surprising outher 2500's. lol
i will look into the 67, thanks for the heads up

The stock turbo is the 60-1 for the 6.0L. But they may have changed that.
