weather has to do alot....i ran a 13.4 in 50-60 degree weather...now it's 80-90 and i can get better than a 13.9 So weather could knock a half sec off.

not to mention i ran the 13.4 without a tune....i got it dyno tuned and added 20+ HP (i'm at 350rwhp now) and i ran the 13.9 with that. 50 degrees could very well get you more that half a second there.

YUP, it won't shift. I've tried. It won't even shift if I'm going 50mph. Kinda sucks trying to make the turn at the end of the track when it gets stuck in 4hi.

"What ya got done to get it there?"

good question. I put smaller tires on (265/75/16), fixed my methanol injection which i didn't know was not working at all, and bumped the timing up from 12 to 16 deg at WOT. That got me to 13.35. Then I changed the whipple crank pulley to a larger one which now gives me 15-16lbs boost. On that I ran 13.06 with major wheel spin in 4hi and I spun the harmonic balancer on the crank shaft just before I hit the finish line. I'm sure I lost at least a tenth because of that and i know my 60' was off by at least a tenth.

My best 60' to date is a 1.85. That kinda sucks but probably has a little something to do with the truck weighing over 3 tons.

Sounds real good! Didn't realize these newer engines could handle 15psi. Trying to decide now what to go with on the 06 CC. If you had to do it again, Whipple or something else??

I would definately need some fat slicks that are dot approved and lots of practice to get this thing to hook in 2wd.
