Default Gen III to Gen IV Throttle Body conversion

Has anyone attempted to make their own X-link harness? I'm trying to use a throttle body from a LSA and control it with my gen 3 (2003) 5.3 computer. The X-Link harness looks like a nice product, but I am on a budget and I don't like to buy things if I can build them myself. Looking at the signals from the 5.3 TB and the LSA TB, it looks like the 5.3 TP1 signal is a 0.38V - 4.50V signal and the TP2 signal is a 0.28V-4.60V. The LSA TP1 signal is 4.75V-0.325V and the TP2 signal is 0.25V-4.59V. I'm hoping the the TP2 signals are close enough to work. I'm hoping I just need to inverse the TP1 signal from the LSA and change the gain a little bit. Has anyone else tried this and spent like $20 in parts instead of the $235 on an X-link?

Most do not. Good luck! It will be cool if it works.

If you can figure it out you will be praised by many since the x-link is sold out or too costly for most

If you are savy with micro controllers you can sample A in and then do simple conversions to supply a voltage back out. But it is always easier said than done.

I'm on a budget too!

But my own time is actually worth something...

I plan to figure this out. I have ordered an Operational Amplifier Microchip and some resistors. I will report back when they show up and after I have tested it.
