well right now i have 3.42's i love em for racing from rollin, but boy due they suck from dead stop, im wanting to upgrade my gears but still dont know to what. i was thinking 3.73's since its a daily driver i drive about 60-70 miles daily, so im just wanting some feed back to see what i should do.

4:10, it's really not worth it to go from 3.42 to 3.73. the miles per gallon might be like 1 not much at all.

To me a a 3.73 is not a good upgrade from a 3.42. You want to be able to feel it and a 4.10 upgrade will give you that. On MPG OD really makes it a mute issue. On the 3.90 ratio, I would stay away from one, not that logic is bad but the quality and selection of who makes the gears is very limited in that ratio. Also 4.10, alone with 3.73 and 4.56 is supported by GM ECM reprograming directly, a 3.90 is not.
