hey im thinkin about getting some 3.73s put in my 04 silverado... does anybody know what the dealership will charge to do this install? or what shop will charge to put them in?... and how hard would it be to install my self, i have never done gears before but i have rebuilt a couple engines, so i have a little experience

It jsut depends where you are located. I got mine installed for $150. I would stay away from the dealership.

if you rebuilt engines before, i am sure you can tackle gears. i did the posi by myself never seeing a differential before. shimming the pinion gear is probably going to be the toughest part. i would do alot of research on the internet on how to install gears. then you will be more confident going in
