Default which gear would be best

With my current set-up i think my 4-10's are working against me....so what gear should i get.......i like top speed.....so something that can reach 130-140 mph in a 3rd gear would be sick.i'm running a 295 tire....and probly 315 later in life. i will be reving later around 6300 rpms when i get the fuel system upgraded.

3.73s with a 29" tall tire should be good to 150mph at 6500rpm in 3rd gear.

I wouldn't go anything lower than that with your type of blower unless you really don't care about off the line power. If not then 3.42s would get you to your desired goal also and an even higher top speed.

Damn man. I dont think I'd get to 130 if my life depended on it. I'd be scared shitless. If you do swap I'd like to hear how much of a difference it makes off the line. Ive got 3.73's now and was thinking 4.10's may work a little better for me given my weight.

Not yet, Im in the middle of closing on a new house, changing jobs, and I really need to spend some time doing some tuning before I throw more into the mix. Besides, I still havent changed out the tensioner that is making my truck sound like a 30 year old beater. Im getting behind!!
