the 160* will just put in the optimum performance range. The reason our trucks run higher temps is for emissions, so I have been told. But it shouldn't hurt milage. All of the mods that I have done have helped my mileage.

First off if you want gas mileage go get a Honda, you don't buy a truck for gas mileage, you buy a truck cause you need one. These little mods are not really going to affect ****, they will make the motor work more efficently and thats about it. Don,t worry about mileage till you gear it and stall it...

I saw a loss of about .5 to 1 mpg when I put mine in. But That was fine with me because I knew I had hit the threashhold of MPG before I put it in. I had that sucker up tp 20 to 21 mpg on the highway. Now, Im down to 18, but like I said, I'm over the mod limit. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
