Default Ganettelli vs stock MAF

Im running a Granettelli MAF on my Magnacharge 5.3. When I installed it, it felt like the truck became a new animal. My con cern is that I may be running lean at full boost with the grannetelli after all is just a stock Maf ported and descreened. Whats your guys imput on this?

When you put the stock MAF back on, did you descreen it, or leave it undestroyed? lol
