Default G-TECH SS or RR?

I noticed a bunch of you guys have the RR but it's like $100 more than the SS. Which one is better and is the G-TECH easy to use?

I think the biggest difference is the ability to log runs and pull them off at a later date.

I'm not going to be getting too many mods for it (it's already fast) but would it be better for tuning it for more HP if I get the RR?

Either will be fine for tuning as they measure exactly the same. The RR model will let you log more runs and then take it into the house and view them on the pc. Then you can really look at the data...overlay etc. I thought it was worth the extra 100 bux when I got mine 2 days ago.

BTW, what are your mods Flyer? And can the 4l60e handle 12 sec runs?

Not trying to step in for Flyer, but the 4l60e can hold up to 12 second runs, if your lucky. Check out F8l Z71, I think all he has done is a shift kit and he runs 12.42 in a 5000+ truck. His tranny is slipping though, but the 4l60e is a trash tranny and will break after some power is added.

If built right .... I think it could handle it in a lighter truck.

As for my mods ... RADIX is the most of it, there's a few other little things.

That's what I thought, it's almost impossible to run 12s without a SC or TC. Too bad my dad won't let me get one, and I better stop telling him how fast it already is because he's going to just make my mod list shorter and shorter.
