Futral Motorsports Tune

Futral Motorsports Tune
Allan Futral and Candy are coming to Atlanta Fri. and Sat. Allan is going to tune about 20 vehicles, including my truck. I am scheduled for 6:00 P.M. Friday. I'm considering getting a custom cam from Allan also. I'm real curious to see what #s I am making and how much more Allan can squeeze out. I've been reading about Nelson Tunes, but did not want a mail order tune. I am really excited about seeing the before and after results, as well as feeling the difference.

Getting a tune from Allan was by far the best thing I have done to my truck yet. They have awesome customer service, know there sh*t, and are really nice people.
Since you have a sc, you should really get a nice gain in power and driveablility.

He said the tuning was really messed-up.
Baseline (stock 99' tune) = 229rwhp/286rwtq
After the FMS dyno-tune = 270rwhp/290rwtq
I wish I had a scanner so I could post the graph. The baseline horsepower ran flat after about 4600 rpms and the torque curve dropped-off very fast. The horsepower difference after 4600 rpms is between 25-41hp across the chart. And the torque difference after 4700 rpms is between 25-40tq across the chart, I also got between 15-20tq before 4600 rpms.
But, this is my 99' silverado with a cam and a bunch of other stuff. Allan said he didn't expect that much of a gain, he told me before I went down there that the normal gains for trucks where around 10-15rwhp and that mine might be in the 15-20rwhp range since I had a cam. The driveability of my truck after the tune was great and no more SES lights.
Let me know if you have any more questions! Send me a PM or whatever.
